About
When one grows up in the south, they tend to enjoy the hospitality and food the region is known for. Rebekah would be no exception to the rule. She also enjoys providing said hospitality and serving up traditional southern fare. Having moved to Ohio nearly 20 years ago, she refers to it as, “home,” with the requisite quotation marks, while staying true to her southern roots.
Rebekah earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Thomas Edison State University. After graduation, she worked as an accountant for a small non-profit organization for 6 years prior to joining McLain, Hill, Rugg & Associates in 2021, which would later merge-in to Dark Horse CPAs. She’s loved being able to expand her knowledge of bookkeeping and working with a variety of businesses. Specifically, she loves a perfectly reconciled set of books and working alongside her team members.
When not balancing the books, she can be found spending time with friends and family. She enjoys going out to coffee, lunch and game nights with her friends and being an active member of her local church. But, alas, there is the needed introvert recharge which she spends reading, journaling and playing computer games. She admits it’s not a life made for Instagram, but it is full of loved ones and daily joys.
