Spencer Bernard

My favorite part of accounting is working with individuals to accomplish their company's goals. I became an accountant because I met several individuals who had a lot of awesome career opportunities that started with accounting. Some of the opportunities I've really enjoyed as an accountant have been:

• Being a financial manager for the State of Utah, focused completely on using funds to provide the best opportunities for the State's refugee's and disabled veterans.
• Being involved at UVU not only as a student, but also as an auditor with the goal of bettering the schools' operations.
• Working with several medical and dental practices, as well as companies in all sorts of industries.

On the home front, I am currently living in Lehi, UT with my wife and our two dogs. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing games, watching movies, eating great food, and sports. I'm a huge NBA fan and root for the Detroit Pistons, who have been awful for the past 20 years...
