Barney Schneider

Barney Schneider's life is a vibrant tapestry woven with threads of family, community involvement, and a deep passion for both accounting and her beloved Wyoming Cowboys. Raised in Wyoming, Barney developed a love for the outdoors and adventure from a young age. Barney graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, a milestone that not only shaped her professional path but also deepened her affinity for the Wyoming Cowboys. She and her family are ardent supporters of the team, relishing the opportunity to watch them play at War Memorial Stadium whenever possible, proudly cheering, "Go Pokes!"

Professionally, Barney has dedicated herself to tax accounting for approximately five years, specializing in agricultural clients, farmers, ranchers, rental hosts, day care providers, and entrepreneurs. She enjoys working with a wide variety of clientele while learning and growing with them in their businesses.

Before pursuing her career in accounting, Barney devoted several years to her role as a stay-at home mom (aka “Domestic Engineer”), supporting her husband and their two boys with unwavering dedication. She actively participated in community activities and spent many hours of windshield time traveling across the state of Wyoming cheering on her boys in their soccer games!

Beyond her professional life, Barney finds solace and joy in the great outdoors with her husband, Matt, her boys and dogs! Her and her husband love jogging, playing volleyball, hiking, going jet skiing, traveling…and, of course, watching their Pokes at War Memorial Stadium!

With a heart as expansive as the Wyoming landscape she holds dear, Barney continues to embrace life's opportunities, making a meaningful impact wherever she goes.
