Eric Ting, CPA

Born and raised in Southern California, Eric decided early on that he was going to be a CPA after taking an accounting class in high school. After graduating from UCSB, he began his career at one of the Big 4 in Los Angeles specializing in private equity and hedge funds before transitioning into working with real estate development companies, where he managed large clients with complex multi-state and international tax needs.

He then went on to work at one of the largest privately owned construction and real estate companies in the country where he not only ran tax operations on the business side, but also did tax compliance and planning for their family office. It was there that he developed a strong foundation in tax planning and advisory for high net worth families and their businesses and where he realized he enjoyed advising individuals and their ventures rather than large corporations.

When he's not busy with tax work, Eric tries to do activities that get him away from sitting at a desk. He might be found half heartedly training for a half marathon (and working towards his first marathon race), traveling around the world (hoping to visit every country at some point in his life), or at a live music event.
