Jay-Anne Mandingin, CPA, MBA

Jay-Anne has spent 15+ years talking numbers into behaving, first as an investment accountant at a publicly traded insurer, then as CFO for a run of very different businesses: a family auto body shop, a multi-site animal hospital group (which she helped sell, then stuck around to run), and a marketing agency. Most recently, she joined an AI and data-privacy startup as its founding finance hire, building the finance function from the ground up and opening an office in Japan along the way, then layering AI agents on top so a lean team could keep scaling right alongside a fast-growing business. Across every stop, she's been the person people call when they need help with a turnaround, cleaning up the books, or building the infrastructure to get a company ready to grow.

She started her career as a licensed CPA in New Jersey, then earned her CPA after settling in Canada, and picked up her MBA from the University of Calgary. She earned her Bachelor's in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Ramapo College of New Jersey.

A Clifton, New Jersey native, Jay-Anne spent the last several years out west and is now making her way back to Jersey, full circle. In the meantime, she and her partner finished restoring a 1953 powder blue Pontiac Chieftain (which he promptly traded for a Harley bagger), and she picked up a Hondamatic of her own. These days you'll find them on scenic rides through the mountains, or camping lakeside with their two dogs, Calamity Jane and Annie Oakley, who will swim after a thrown ball for as long as anyone's willing to throw it.
