Jon Kaine, CPA

Jon was born and raised in the Boston area and attended Merrimack College. Driven by a passion for numbers and understanding of financial information, he graduated with a degree in accounting in 2012. Shortly thereafter, he earned his Certified Public Accountant license in 2013.

Jon brings years of experience from both the public and private industries to his position at Dark Horse. He began his career working in audit for a Big Four accounting firm, which allowed him to build a strong foundation of accounting principles and knowledge of business processes and controls. Working in Corporate Accounting for both small and large companies allowed him to apply his knowledge and expertise. What ultimately led him to Dark Horse was the passion and drive to solve problems and provide solutions to as many businesses as possible.

When not working, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife Tara and two children, Edwin and Rylee. Jon enjoys anything active and outdoors but especially hiking, skiing and boating, and fishing on Narragansett Bay.
