About
Larry Tucker, CPA, has over 20 years of experience helping people make sense of taxes, accounting, and the occasional financial mystery. As a Certified Public Accountant, Larry has built his career around working with business owners, nonprofits, and high-net-worth clients to understand their options, protect their assets, and maximize their return on both effort and investment.
Larry earned his degree in Accounting from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado on the way to earning his CPA. Over the course of a career spanning tax, audit, forensic accounting, and consulting, he has learned accounting is more than a collection of numbers on a page; it is a story told in numbers. A business's accounting tells where it has been, where it is today, and even where it may be headed. Larry enjoys helping clients see where they’ve been, understand where they are, and then leverage the knowledge to make thoughtful, informed decisions about the future.
Larry believes good tax service is about more than finding angles, crunching numbers, and checking boxes. It’s about understanding each client’s situation, asking the right questions, offering guidance on options, and helping clients understand their finances without making them feel like they need an accounting degree to follow along. Whether he is untangling a complicated tax issue, helping a business owner plan for the road ahead, or simply making a client’s tax situation a little less intimidating, Larry brings experience, curiosity, and a personable approach to his work.
When not trying to make tax and accounting fun, Larry likes to have his fun both inside and outside. Inside, he likes to read, play video games, and learn for the sake of learning. Outside, he may be found enjoying a hiking or biking trail, disc golf course, real golf course, snowboard, or rock-climbing crag. He lives in Longmont, Colorado with his wife, two sons, two dogs, and one ill-tempered rabbit.
Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
