Zoey's passion for accounting began early and has been shaped through both academic achievement and hands-on experience. She earned her Associate's degree from Zane State College through her high school's College Credit Plus (CCP) program before completing her Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Muskingum University.
Before joining the public accounting profession, Zoey built a strong foundation in private accounting through her career at Englefield Oil Company. She began as a treasury and cash management intern during her junior year of high school and continued to grow within the company, gaining experience in the Treasury, and Lubricants Divisions, before becoming an Accountant for the Retail Division.
Working alongside managers and executive leadership, Zoey developed expertise in financial reporting, general ledger management, journal entries, inventory reconciliation, forecasting, accruals, financial statement analysis, month-end close procedures, and audit preparation. She also contributed to executive reporting, internal audit projects, and financial analyses that helped leadership make strategic business decisions.
Now, Zoey is excited to begin the next chapter of her career by transitioning from private accounting into public accounting, where she is expanding her expertise in tax and client service. She enjoys learning new areas of the profession and is excited to help individuals and businesses navigate complex tax matters while continuing to grow as an accounting professional.
Currently pursuing her CPA license, Zoey is committed to continuous learning and providing thoughtful, accurate, and dependable service. She enjoys the challenge of solving problems, building relationships, and helping clients achieve their financial goals.
