Never, never, never give up

A CPA who raves. It sounds like a paradox; two identities that are incompatible with each other. Not for Brad Mason, nor for Dark Horse’s CEO for that matter. Even beyond his proclivities for EDM as a CPA, Brad hasn’t fit the mold that others might have expected nor the one that he expected of himself. Of himself, he expected to go into the medical field. After getting into his pre-med studies, however, he quickly realized that didn’t resonate. Others might have expected him to take over the family’s cabinetry business when he took a year to work for the company after realizing the medical field wasn’t for him. Again, it didn’t resonate but it did set him on the path of getting a business degree, which ultimately led him to accounting where he found true resonance.
Fast forward a few years and he earned his Bachelor’s degree in accounting and Master’s degree in professional accounting. He went on to earn his CPA license from the state of Arizona and has spent nearly a decade in public accounting in both tax and client accounting services.
In his spare time, Brad enjoys watching his Denver Broncos and Phoenix Suns (going to games whenever the opportunity arises). He also enjoys the outdoors, whether golfing, camping, or kayaking. He also loves travelling with his wife, Brianna, whom he took on a belated honeymoon trip to Europe recently. And, of course, he loves combining these passions for travel and the outdoors with his love of EDM through attending live concerts and festivals, seeing artists such as Martin Garrix and Illenium.
