Providing legal counsel to Dark Horse since its inception, it’s fair to say the firm would be a mess without Chris Harvey’s counsel. His efforts are normally directed towards advising emerging fund managers, accelerators, venture studios, GPs and other venture investors. Why he chose to spend his time helping us is likely only attributable to the tax advisory we could provide in return.
Chris obtained his bachelor’s degree from Missouri University of Science and Technology and obtained his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2008 and has been in practice ever since. Chris has a wealth of knowledge and is a thought leader in the venture capital law space.
When not laying down the law, Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends (sometimes that line is a bit blurred as his dad is a key employee of his firm!), reading about all things entrepreneurship, drinking an elevated cocktail, and exploring his city and traveling the world.
