A once-aspiring astronaut that loves freediving in the ocean and freestyle dancing wherever there is music doesn’t exactly paint the picture you’d expect of an accountant. And yet, the aforementioned paints the picture that is Denise Bandiola, CPA.
She didn’t initially gravitate towards numbers but learned that accounting would open a lot of doors for her in life, so she set out to earn her CPA license and went to work for a Big 4 accounting firm where she worked in the International Tax and Transaction Services department. Along the way, she began to enjoy navigating the complexities of tax law and the inherent need for strategic thinking. In fact, she now dreams of becoming a tax attorney in the future.
Outside of work, she like to be, well, outside, exploring new places, new cuisines, going to the beach, as well as the freediving and dancing mentioned previously. She loves music and loves to sing. And, as the middle child of three girls, she loves to socialize and spend quality time with those she loves.
