If you’re not excited about it, it’s not the right path
— Abraham Hicks
Like some others on the Dark Horse team, Candace was raised in a military family and was stationed internationally. This moved her to places like Germany, New York, and eventually Nebraska. Nebraska is a fine place, but it lacked a certain live music scene she was craving. A self-proclaimed “Deadhead,” she set out to travel the country to see every concert and festival she possibly could. One particular festival took her to Missoula, Montana, where she lives to this day, 22 years later.
Candace earned a degree in Business Management from the University of Montana – Missoula and has over a decade of experience in accounting, bookkeeping and administration.
Outside of accounting, she still enjoys the open road, so you might pass her on a freeway in her RV. If she’s not driving that RV, she’s likely reading one of the 52 books she reads a year. Yes, that is an average of one book per week. If she’s not on the road, she’s likely working with her hands, making things from bookshelves to summer dresses to a loaf of sourdough bread.
