Maybe this is the new generation of accountant, one who operates within technology as much as the tax code. Either way, Lance Goddard has a lot to bring to the table for the firm and clients alike.
Lance grew up in Rome, Georgia before relocating to be closer to family in Beallsville, Ohio during high school. It was during high school when he was first introduced to accounting and discovered an interest he might not have found otherwise. While attending Muskingum University, this interest deepened as he was able to see how intertwined business and accounting truly are. He would tell you that accounting is the language of business. He has worked for Tim McLain and Megan Durst ever since graduating.
Beyond the spreadsheets, Lance enjoys spending time with this fiancé, Becca, and his Corgi, Henry. And, of course, he can regularly be found gaming and live-streaming his exploits for his adoring followers. One day, he hopes to hit one million subscribers. He may be doing his own accounting at that point.
